Did you disconnect and reconnect the CPS? I've read that the connection can get dirty.
Also what is the exact description of the problem? A bad CPS the engine will turn over but won't start, or take a longer time to start.
I'm assuming it turns over but when you said a relay click I'm not thinking it's not even turning over. That wouldn't be a CPS issue.

Ahhh you may have a much simpler problem then. Could be the starter, the solenoid, relay. You could try jumping the posts between the solenoid and see if it turns over. Make sure the wheels are blocked before doing it!
