Default Born again jeep build

After about 5 years of taking a break from wheeling it's time to get back into things. I've got a lot planned for this build and can't wait to get started.
2005 wrangler x
4.5 lift
8 adjustable teraflex control arms
33 engineering tummy tuck
Ford 8.8 with lock rite locker and 4.88 gears
Front Dana 30 with high pinion and a full tnt axle truss. All brackets are getting cut off the axle housing then this welds on then replace all the brackets. Including the spring buckets.
Jb conversions sye
Clayton adjustable track bar
Lots to do but I've been hoarding parts this whole time. Now it's time to put it all in. Here's some of it. Picking up the axles soon (currently under another jeep)

The ford 8.8 is shorter than the dana 35, right? How did you handle that, spacers?

Yes it is shorter. But not by much. I think it's right around the 1 inch mark or just slightly under. Shouldn't be an issue. But if it does become one I'll use spacers probably. Another option is to install a c clip eliminator kit in it. That will make it wider.

So really that's 1/2" each side? Yeah that doesn't seem like much. Interesting I guess I didn't realize that the Ford 8.8 used "C" clips.

Looks like a fun build. Does that tummy tuck kit require a body lift and motor mount lift? Also, you might want to ditch the stock t-case shift linkage and replace it with a cable system (like Novak or similar). Let's see some pics before and after!

Yes you need to to a motor mount and body lift. I've already installed brown dogs bomb proof motor mounts and the Jks 1.250" body lift. I ditched the "z" gate linkage system that jeep uses for the transfer case a few years back. I broke it out on the trails at Rausch creek. I replaced it with Novak industries custom kit. The shifter goes directly to the T case. No more cable or links.

Awesome. I have the same setup on my 03 rubi (jks body lift, brown dog poly 1" lift motor mounts, Novak cable). I used an undercover fab 1/4" steel high clearance skid (and engine skid) with the UCF lopro Trans mount. Everything seems to work pretty well together but I did have some exhaust rattles to sort out.

Hopefully get some shop time in this week at some point. Need to start prepping the control arms and tummy tuck for paint.

Got my truss for the Dana 30hp. It's from tnt customs. Full truss out to the knuckle even has the spring purches. Will be cutting off all the brackets on the axle. Should have the axle in a couple weeks.
