Removed the ECU to send in to get tested. It still won't do anything

Yea the check gauges light came on the voltage was reading 19v then all the guages started acting strange ( moving back and forth ) then the check engine light came on then it died just like you turned off the key. Now it does nothing no power to anything.

Oh no. I remember reading about the voltage spike somewhere now. Internal regulator on the alternator. Did you replace the alternator, or take it off and have it checked? I would hope they have stuff that protects the ECU from problems like this.

All this happened in the drive way thank god. While the gauge was showing high voltage I put a meter on it and it was normal voltage. Thats what leads me to belive that there is some thing wrong with the ECU. It sends all the signals to the dash gauges. I found a place in Florida that will check/repair it for $124.00

It's funny how things act up once you disturb them.
